Already today six people have offered to help me lug my suitcase around; four people have asked me for money; two people have told me, “Honey, you are so young.”
And I see this as a bizarre metaphor for my life.
If half of the people in my life are offering their help and support, one-third are asking for things from me and a few more are telling me ‘everything will be just fine.’
I’m very, very lucky.
